We are Derek and Stormy Goodwin a military family stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana and we are trying to raise money for our daughter, Skyler Madison Goodwin. Skyler was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, which has left her blind with light perception.
We are trying to raise $40,000 to take Skyler to China for Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Treatment. 47 other children in the US have gone through with the procedure and all have seen results. Our medical insurance will not pay for this treatment because it is not FDA Approved. We are reaching out to our extended military family as well as the local community for help! Please help us give our daughter the chance to see the world through her own eyes!!
